the question of the 60s....
Mary Ann!
Agreed.
OK, did not need to end the year with this news. Mary An is the one I would have in the garage, still want to test drive the other model just once.

Mary Ann!
That's not even a question.
I read somewhere that after the show ended, she helped care for Mrs. Howell for the rest of her life.
She also used her theatrical experience with quick-change clothes to design a clothing line that made it easier for handicapped and impaired people to dress themselves.

I alwas did think she was the hotter of the two. But I like your thought process, sir.
The sad thing is that every single one of the castaways in the show is dead now except for Tina Louise. Ginger is the only survivor at age 86.
Suddenly I feel old.
I follow the Dawn Wells Facebook page. She was still posting things right before Christmas. This covid thing must have hit really quickly.
She seemed like one of the good ones vs all the usual Drama Queen antics a lot of actresses seem to reveal.
Figured it was time to dig out the series on DVD, it includes the pilot that didn't air for 30 years with 3 different actors and they were in the Caribean, with a different sounding theme.
Growing up on syndication in the 70s she was likely my first celebrity crush. And there was no contest, her over Ginger.

They just had a segment on her on the news. She was one heck of a good person. And yes, she was doing stuff on media up to her death.

I read reports that she had also been suffering from dementia, but maybe that was untrue or overblown.
I listened to a couple radio interviews with her in the last few years, she did seem like such a nice person with a great sense of humor.
Unfortunately, Budweiser just had to go nuclear at the end of this ad...
Of course, they nailed it, but I did feel bad for Mary Ann when I saw it.
