Jeebus, all I did was take a picture of an ironic situation and I set off a firestorm. Lol. Citation: Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada November 2018. I didn’t stack the berkeleying rocks, I wicked swear! Lol.
TIL posting political memes is okay as long as (nearly) everybody else agrees with them.
Hooray, we're just like BaceFook!

Actually, you, Asa, and Fasted58 created a teachable moment.
I always knew to disturb nothing at say Arches, or Yosemite, but thought, and still think it is okay to do stuff like that here in TN. It's the people who dump their old tires and washing machines on the trail that tick me off.
Quote from Fasted58's article:
To simplify everything, stacked rocks on a trail are man-made stone piles called Cairns and their primary purpose is to mark junctures, paths, and trails for a more straightforward visual cue. There is a long history regarding stacked rocks and it is a rich history where a number of other uses for Cairns can be learned.
However, the modern day man has made the practice of building Cairns into an activity that many don’t approve of. Countless articles and blogs appeal to the public to stop making Cairns because it is unnatural and unattractive. Many think that modern-day Cairns are a New Age form of graffiti. Government and National Park officials have made statements asking tourists, hikers, and backpackers to refrain from building Cairns.

I don't know how FB works, but I thought there were basically no rules for posting memes.
Anyway, no idea how that collection of memes made it in here. I resisted engaging, as I do not agree with most of them, but this is not the place for that discussion.

Actually they just weren't reported to the mods.
Knock it off with the student loan memes no matter if they are pro or con. I know student loans shouldn't be political, but here we are.

Just post it under my name, it'll be removed immediately. The rest will be left up though. That's what's happened so far...
I guess "my Jeep identified as a student loan" is somehow more political than the others.

When Lil Stampie was in elementary school I told him that he needed to learn how to get away with stuff. I told him that if he was the kid always trying to stand out with a look at me attitude they would be looking when he did something he wasn't supposed to be doing.

That isn't political, it is shiny happy peoplish. If it hadn't been deleted I would have replied to it with a crank the knob to 11 and break it off rant.
