I mean, they weren't until he started spouting off about how he was going to donate $6 billion and then didn't.

I'm no Musk fan, but I think he help up his end of the 'deal'.   He said he would provide $6 billion if they could describe how it would solve world hunger.  They couldn't.

I think CNN berkeleyed up the message as well.

You know as well as everybody else, giving that kind of money to an organization like that will only serve to enrich it's administrative staff.
