I've down voated the op's meme. I'm sure it will be claimed as just a joke. But I've seen the same meme before a couple of times. Every time I've seen it, it's been on a site where it's been posted purposefully to be mean, dismissive, or negate Trans people. No way that is anything but a political meme. if you know anybody who is trans, you would know how incredibly hard their lives are and E36 M3 like this is not needed. Why do people keep looking for ways around no politics?
Edit as people have pointed out this isn't political. I incorrectly used political as a generic 'don't go there' term. Everybody is correct, I should have said, bigoted. The problem is I tend to associate bigoted with a certain political viewpoint, although I realize that is massively unfair to some. Sorry.

It's something that kids play with. Think of the great camp song:
Great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts
Mutilated monkey meat
Dirty turdy birdy feet...

I can only imagine.
I have a few online trans friends - the comics industry has an amazingly high number of trans people - and one of my in-laws is a transman. And not in the "hey buddy can you rebuild my E40D" kind of sense.
Generally speaking, they are doing much better with themselves after transitioning but the road to get there sucked so hard that I'm happy that I only have to imagine.

I get what you're saying, but I dont think "political" is really the right word.

Yah, if it is political, it is because a media mogul wedge-driver wanted to make it political.
The only word I can think of is somewhere on the spectrum between insensitive, ignorant, and deliberate shiny happy person, depending on the speaker. Mostly for the "boy" in the first sentence. I automatically figure anyone who refers to an adult as a "boy" is an shiny happy person, so there is that. A trans person would have spent years of counseling, and then therapy, before they would be allowed to either dismiss or apply that perjorative.
In addition to people remembering games looking better on the tube TVs, they also wonder why they're so bad at playing the retro games on an HDTV as compared to when they were kids. All HDTVs have lag (some way more than others) that can get you killed very easily in games like Super Mario Bros., Mega Man and Ninja Gaiden. Almost all tube TVs had zero lag.
In reply to GCrites80s :
I bought my first HDTV specifically based on the low lag time for composite video connections. I seem to recall that stat was easy to find back in the early days of HDTVs. Now, I have no idea.
