If ever there was a statement of I ain't going back. I'm turning my life around, this is it.
Sorry to interject some seriousness into your Friday morning Meme-ing. These two are a great example of why we need to be carefull about reducing everything to memes for laughs. The problem is many take them too seriously as an actual data point.

This one oversimplifies wants, needs, and the reality of individual character traits. I may be a director of Engineering who controls budgets in the multiple millions and makes decisions that can have long term benefits or issues in the tens or hundreds of millions. But I am not suited to running my own business or making the best long term financial decisions myself. The issue is when it's my money on the line I have a tendency to panic and not always follow the same calm logic as I do with far greater sums at work.

This one pisses me off as it's intended to paint people like me in a bad light. There's another one that complains about not getting a mortgage that costs less than rent. Ignoring the fact that a mortgage doesn't' include property tax, insurance, maintenance, and many many more things. Plus a lot of people just aren't suited to home ownership. The number of tenants who get stymied by a hair clogged drain, or don't notice a leak, or or or is astounding.
All contain nuggets of truth that get used to bash others for usually not good reasons.
OK, sorry for whining. Here's some entertainment to make up for my Debbie downerness.
I hope I've made amends for being a killjoy now.
I have a ring tat in lieu of gold band, safer around machines. I had one dose of removal, need another but it's illegal in my State. The guy that did the first one moved to Florida.
