Grant's dead though. I thought we decided it was ok to politics provided it was about dead politickers.

Said meme is deep into wink-and-nudge territory. I think everybody here knows that it's not really about Grant.
Do we have to edit the rules so that political content is verboten unless it's clearly and exclusively about dead politickers?

That won't really help, because (for hypothetical example) I could easily claim that Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon (one from each team - see what I did there) are the two worst presidents this nation has ever had. Both are dead but that does not stop it from being an entirely political post.
I'd say the rule has to allow only completely inconsequential trivia about dead politickers if it is to have any chance of working.

To be fair, mine was actually more picking on journalists not doing their research (a simple Google search by them would have prevented many erroneous headlines) and I tried to word it as innocuously as possible. But also, if people had said nothing on this page, it likely would have been consigned to the previous page and forgotten. Here, a less controversial one. Let's just move on, folks.

That wasn't a political meme. That was obviously a meme about the tendency for the media to tout incorrect facts as news.

Again with the religion!
Change the picture to me, and the wording to, "It's not a Trans Am, it's a Camaro." 40 years...

It's a syncro,
(I like this picture. Vehicle still had stabilizer bars front and rear, and it made enough grip on slimy cold dirt to find the bump stops at the inside front and outside rear)

Quattro, Syncro... Seis? Of course I had to post dos Seis to make the pun work... And maybe "work" needs the quotes.
