Only in Oz... When vanity plates first became available here a lawyer friend of a friend applied for, and got, "REKNAW". Things were great for a while and then I guess there must have been a few complaints so "they" decided it was inappropriate and tried to take it back. It turned out that the law gave them the right to decline a combination but no ability to claw one back. It took three years, a change to the law and a modest payout before he had to give it up.

How to Avoid Mixing Your Metaphors

It’s not rocket surgery.
First, get all your ducks on the same page.
After all, you can’t make an omelette
without breaking stride.

Be sure to watch what you write
with a fine-tuned comb.
Check and re-check until the cows turn blue.
It’s as easy as falling off a piece of cake.

Don’t worry about opening up
a whole hill of beans:
you can always burn that bridge when you come to it,
if you follow where I’m coming from.

Concentrate! Keep your door closed
and your enemies closer.
Finally, don’t take the moral high horse:
if the metaphor fits, walk a mile in it.

A little context: Union Pacific tried some gas turbine locomotives in the '50s. They were far more powerful than anything else but were also prone to roasting flocks of pigeons and melting blacktop off of overpasses and were louder than hell. But what really killed them was when the petrochemical industry found uses for Bunker C fuel oil, which they burned in abundance, and the price shot up and made them uneconomical to operate.

You forgot to tell them the nickname. If they can restore a Big Boy, I hope like hell they restore a Big Blow.

One should be careful when mixing metaphors.  It can tend to snowball like a house afire.
