Poorly placed advertising is poorly placed
Without leaving this page, I would suggest that at least three of the memes posted by a single forum member are in fact, vigorously political, which unless I am mistaken, is still against the rules for this thread, and indeed, for the entire forum!
Edited to include obligatory meme, since I have a sincere desire to play by the rules:

Not defending or anything, but what's political about any of them?
I always thought that in order to be political, it had to be related to government as it relates to policymaking.

I'm looking and not seeing them. Does someone need another layer of skin cells?

As the poster in question, I'll admit, the Laos one is a little on the edge, but it's also a historical event that happened 50 years ago. The Middle East one is also referencing a historical event that happened 100 years ago. So, we can't talk about any historical events? And the TikTok one is hardly political. It's a known fact that it's a company owned by a Chinese company and that the app has some informational security issues. Hell, there was a thread about it on here that was created by someone else that didn't get locked.
In reply to NickD :
The Laos one did not bring any commentary with respect to the politics behind the bombing campaign, for or against, it merely made light of an unfortunate ad. Plus, most people anymore are too young to even remember that time period.
TikTok is fair game. Berk their spyware.
As for the Middle East... see point 1
Somebody got a pretty new Wagoneer stuck on the Outer Banks and the ocean claimed it. The memes have been satisfying.
