We have always called that "Friday".
I suppose people don't figure that parts delivery may be a 24hr or longer affair depending on where it has to come from... or that people can't drop everything to do 10h worth of work after authorization was given at 1pm and there are six other vehicles ahead of them in priority.
In my previous life, I was the lead man in a rapid prototyping machine shop.
On the Friday before memorial day, we had an engineer from a major yellow bulldozer manufacturer come in telling us that he needed a valve cover assembly by the following Tuesday morning
After all, Monday was a holiday.
He didn't have a solid model, or a P.O.
We didn't have a casting or material to machine one from billet, if he would have had a model.
I tried to explain the facts to him, all I got from him was "Well, it has to be done by then".
We got him one by mid week, then spent the next 3 months running 2 CNC mills around the clock turning 800lbs of aluminum blanks into 36lbs of valve cover assemblies.
The shocking thing, he kept his job.
The overtime helped me retire at 58, so...

Lil Lifter.
I like it. Short, alliterative, catchy.
Lil' fan belt.
Meh.
Both pics are mine. Distance was only a portion of the planning. I also had to consider where I was able to do this, and the time of day to avoid negative attention. I don't know if I'll be able to pull off a hat-trick.
I just noticed that I wasn't in the same gear for both.
