....I know this is self inflicted but I hate you guys so much 
What sucks is, I have seen F Zero videos on YouTube. I know now that I had been playing it all wrong, slowing down for corners and stuff instead of bouncing, intentionally jumping off course to shortcut the track, etc. I'm ruined for gameplay.
Kind of like how Carmageddon and some Win 98 era off road game I can't think of [edit - 1nsane. Yes that is the name] got boring after we discovered that you could repair your car in-game instead of between levels. What fun is that?

If it only has RCA, you can use the A/V cable from a gamecube to plug in the snes...
Fiero needs consider F zero x. You can run in windows at 60fps/1080p with mods. I haven't tried but seems similar to Mario 64 Plus
Edit: I dont know what I originally typed there but it definitely wasn't supposed to be "Fiero needs"
