When we picked up the Model T&A I forgot about Lawtey and blew past a police car doing like 15 over without getting pulled over. IIRC there was something about the mayor and police cheif being cousins and somehow meth dealing was involved. I think it ended with the disbanding of the police force.

Yeah, without looking it up, my recollection is the same.
Circumstances dictated that I wouldn't be able to go to court, so I paid the ticket.
I did however, write a letter to the judge, explaining that I regularly drove through that town, was familiar with their enforcement practices, and had already dropped my speed to below the limit before even entering the city limits.
Not long after that, I read in the paper that the judge was automatically dismissing every single speeding case without exception.
I'm still mad.
