I have questions.
I found something similar to that under the hood of the H3T, which spent some time in Alaska. It powered the oil pan heater, transmission pan heater, and block heater. Apparently, diesels also get a fuel tank heater as well.
Related? You be the judge.

I really like that, particularly in this time of history deniers.

I took this to the office last week. We'll keep it in the back to play with. We won't pull it out when someone says they don't want me to do any tests, just tell them what's wrong.

Trying very hard not to get political here, we can't even agree on what the real history is of the times we have lived through. It's quite literally like people are watching different movies on the same screen. And this is for current events. Good luck trying to get anything like consensus for anything that happened a significant period of time in the past. And if it happened so long ago that all the people who witnessed it happen are gone, there will never be anything like the truth of what actually happened.
In reality, we are all programmed to think a certain way, and we ignore or claim as false any information that contradicts our established norms.

The 1975 skit on SNL said it best "your mother sews socks that smell". Made 12 year old me about vomit in laughter.

I really hope this is wrong, I'd hate to think it's impossible to live in a world with an agreed-upon objective reality and trustworthy records of the past beyond living human memories. At this point that would mean "the middle ages never happened" would be a totally reasonable argument and the holocaust would be the next to age out.
In reply to GameboyRMH :
There's a difference between objectively true and different interpretations of the facts. The biggest problem happens when people reject the facts because they don't agree with the interpretations. Next worst is people who base their interpretations on partial facts. But we'll always have disagreements on the interpretations of all the facts, and that's okay.
