That didn't work very well for me a month or two ago, but give it a shot.
The first time I was exposed to this term was from reading Huxley. And, frankly, I always thought the Betas, Gammas, and high-functioning Deltas had the best gigs.

Pfff,
Chafe free, blow back free, environmentally friendly trucker bomb packaging was a thing long, long before this.

My first weekend after I'm cleared to drink again is going to involve those hand grenades. I've had a craving for months now after not drinking them for years.
Meme only semi related because I can't find the picture of the pyramid we built from empty Mickey's bottles years ago

I know; right?
Over on the "reinventing yourself" thread I shared that I just turned 60 and it represented a qualitative transition in my life...like driving on a bumpy, rutty dirt road for miles and miles and then suddenly transitioning to smooth highway...the bar was set high, I cleared it, and now I'm done.
Much like the kind witch in the Wizard of Oz speaking to the evil witch..."be gone, you have no power here".

1982 - working at Kmart while attending Community College - my buddy convinces me to drive across the street to the liquor store for lunch, he buys a 6-pack of Mickey's wide mouths, we both down 3 bottles in 20 minutes and then we're back stocking house paint in 30 minutes. Bad choices I've made....

I'm confused. Which was the bad choice? K-Mart? Community College?
Oh, and meme:

All of it! Kmart was made fun of a lot but in the early 80's word in the business world was that Kmart was going to pass Sears and become #1 retailer in the USA. Then Wally World showed up to the party......

What an odd coincidence. I just read a scathing review of our local Walmart, comparing it to a 1985 Kmart.

Try it after giving blood. At 18 I had a job where you would get 4 hours of paid time off for donating blood. We would donate at lunch, head home & split a 6 pack. Talk about a cheap buzz...

KMart's in the '80s had that horrible green florescent pall over everything.
