When I was in basic training we had a "sister flight" so they hammered it into us that there would be no physical contact between the two groups. When I got to tech school I was in the dinning hall (AF we're fancier than a mess hall) when the lady touched my hand slightly giving my meal card back. I freaked out inside thinking I was going to get into trouble for touching a female. Funny how you can get brainwashed in 6 weeks.
And before anyone comments about "quality Chinesium", this is a 30 year old c-clamp from Sears.
Craftsman quality, made in America, broken while I was pressing out a few u-joints.

We'll, when you use the wrong tool for the job, what do you expect?
A C-clamp is for clamping, not pressing. Not saying we all haven't been there, but it's like complaining that my Snap-on screwdriver broke while I was using it to pry off a brake drum.

I'd rather have a malleable C clamp than a brittle one. The malleable one bends to failure, a brittle one shatters with no warning.
