I actually used a piece of wainscotting that I saved from my son's nursery a couple weeks ago. My son is 16 now.

My dad had a friend that was a serious woodworker and when his buddy got sick he passed along all kinds of wood to my dad. Red oak, black oak, cherry, crazy chunks of wood. My dad made a bunch of stuff and stored it in his basement.
When we cleaned out my dads house when he moved in with sister he insisted I take it all home since he knew I dabbled in woods. Stack is in my basement.
When I get old my sons going to toss it into the dumpster.

I know people who would probably remove that for you, if you're interested.

Hi stanger_mussle,
I, as I’m sure many others, have been contemplating what really matters. In the month that I’ve been working from home, I’ve woken up several times realizing if I gave 100%, if I totally focused on what’s fundamentally important and had the conviction / courage to make the call, I could basically get my daily job done in about an hour. What are we doing…commuting endless hours (berking up the environment, creating traffic, wasting time), sitting through pointless meeting after pointless meeting.
I don’t think we’re ever going completely back…we get paid to get it right, if we can pull that off in an hour in our bedroom wearing just a T-shirt and cargo shorts (maybe less – no judging), who cares???
Sorry, no MEME, but yours really hit home.
