A good friend died in a car crash. I still post car crash memes. I'm deaf. I laugh at deaf memes. Its gonna be ok.

I used to grab one just to give Lil Stampie a ride. Even got in trouble once when an older Home Depot worker with no sense of fun in life made him get off. That's when Lil Stampie learned that sometimes it's ok to defy authority.

Also, i don't see the political slant. Data is data.
Here's a shirt I just ordered...
I really want that shirt.

In reply to Mr_Asa :
I haven't been bothered by the Covid memes but I am a terrible person with no sense of too soon: I am beginning to think the Onion's increase in dead spouse material is somehow aimed at me though.
In reply to Wally (Forum Supporter) :
So it isnt necessarily the COVID jokes that bother me (most of the world is tactless these days.) Its more that I'm tired of people mocking serious problems when there is no solution or when people at the top are actively working against a solution. Hell, I saw a Karen go off on a manager at Harbor Freight today cause she was told to put on a mask. She had her 10-ish year old kid with her and had obviously coached him beforehand in what to say because he joined in as well.
It just made me incredibly weary to see this poor guy get harangued by this woman who had brainwashed her son to follow, y'know?
Maybe after 2020 is a year or two behind ill regain my sense of humor
As for the Onion, maybe its like when you buy a certain car and then see that same car everywhere?

I ride on it with the kids. It's basically a giant skateboard.

Mrs VCH told me she saw this shirt and immediately thought of me.

I think I'd re-word that a little bit...
I would want to teach my kid that it's ok to have fun. And sometimes, fun will get you in trouble.
(Yes, I have ridden my kids on those carts)
I don't think the message should be "It's ok to defy authority just so you can have fun". I also don't think the message should have anything to do with the guy being older, or that he had no sense of fun. I can almost guarantee the store has policies he is supposed to enforce, and that he might just want to keep his job.
YMMV
