It doesn't matter if you will.  Someone will.

And if your kid gets injured in a bad way and you are staring at 5 or 6 figure hospital bills, you may change your mind.  I'm sure a lot of people would.

What's nice is, insurance companies can and will sue on your behalf.  So even if you don't want a lawsuit, they don't care, someone's gonna pay and it won't be them.

We were told in the 90s that we (auto technicians) could expect to have to spend $50-100k per year for personal liability insurance because of that.
