I had a set of Mac Tools 3/8" metric impact sockets that I paid dearly for. They frequently exploded into shrapnel when hit with my Mac 3/8" impact gun. Meanwhile, my chrome Pittsburgh sockets just shrugged the same sort of treatment on a daily basis.
