This is my wife. Drives me nuts.
In defense of some people, I've been that guy when I go up to the window fully intending to order a specific sandwich only to find out they discontinued it. Lookin at you, McDonalds and your Jalapeno McChicken. Actually, that happens quite a bit around here, or used to, as we were 5 miles from their HQ, we'd have random McDonalds that had a one-off item for a couple months.

One of SWMBO's staples were Taco Bell's Fiesta Potatoes, notice the past tense. They no longer do potatoes, neither Fiesta nor Burrito. Fine, I'll have a Quesarito... that's somehow now an online order only item? WTH?
I was that guy.
I really wish Rick & Morty would do an episode about Santa Fe Gorditas and Baja Chalupas, I miss them so much.
The chipotle ranch loaded griller they had was a great thing to get for a buck something each. So of course they got rid of it.
Ugh, yep that happens to me as well. First they took away my Volcano Burrito, then my Chicken Grilled Stuffed Burrito. Then Arbys dropped the Reuben Wrap and then the Chicken Cordon Bleu.
It always stumps me because I always get the same thing every time. I GREATLY DISLIKE CHANGE.

We went there Friday for lunch. "I'll have the grilled cheese burrito on your sign" we don't have any "the app says I can order it here" we can't make it. "Fine, steak quesarito with onions and jalapenos" we can't do that "you what?" We can't do that "are you out of tortillas, rice, or steak?" No, we just can't do it.
As a devout Taco Bellian, disappointment, anger, and just straight WTF?!? Will keep me away for a while.
I’ve noticed that Taco Bell’s quality seems to have gone down in recent years. Or maybe I just had a better impression from my teenage days.
When I was in undergrad, my roommates and I were the reason all of the utensils and condiments at our Taco Bell went from self-serve to on-request at the counter.
I don't think I ever visited the dining room, that I didn't walk out with a pocket full of sporks and hot sauce.
Ugh Taco Bell.
About as close to Mexican food as Elizabeth Warren is to being Native American.
Guess that's good thing about south Texas, real Mexican food around every corner.

Politics is one thing. Truth is another. Just because a name got dropped doesn't intend anything politically. Calm down bro
From 2002-2004, I was a poor lower enlisted living in the dorms at my base I was stationed at. In that time, I must of collected probably 200 XL Taco Bell drink cups. My choices for food were either the chow hall or drive off base for some tasty fast food. They made great stealth adult beverage containers.
I was saddened to learn that Taco Bell discontinued the XL drinks in 2017.

I never understand why people say this. People don't eat there because they think its authentic Mexican food. They eat there because its cheap, satisfying, and tastes good (subjective).

Well, we're waiting for the rest of the story.
Still got the cups? Did your buddy move them when you moved and was wonder why you had these? Still in your dads garage?
Don't leave us hanging, bro.

People say taco bell isn't real Mexican food, but it gets the job done for half the price. That's as Mexican as it gets.

Sorry, I threw them all away when I made E-4 and was allowed to move off the base in 2004. The cups were stashed everywhere; in my wall locker, under my bed and in my fridge. I had one cup that I kept on my nightstand that was full of change from buying the $2.49 breakfast sandwiches everyday from the cafeteria in the HQ building where I worked. When I took it to the base credit union to have it counted, they found $84 in change and one 10mm socket lol.
Man, those were the days.

Taco Bell holds a spot in my heart. It is the ONLY way you can safely clear the MREs from your system after a week or two-long field op.

Yeah, it's tasty carbs and protein in an easily hand-holdable form. Tey could call it Mongolian-Aztec fusion and I'd still want a seven layer.

Do you still have the 10mm socket?

I miss the Taco Hell enchirito, discontinued ages ago... then for a few years was replaced by the smothered buritto... until that was killed off as well a couple of years ago.
The Old El Paso enchilada kits is a really close copy, but I haven't seen it for sale in my local stores in ages, so now I have to duplicate it on my own. For years I lamented not having a decent Tex-Mex restaurant near me. Now I have two, but neither of them makes enchiladas the way I like them.
