After seeing lift kit prices, some folks just want the biggest tires they can fit under a stock truck.

Does the "on a level" imply that they're only worried about whether it'll work just driving down the street, as opposed to, say, over rocks and stuff? EDIT to apologize for the normal photo, but I almost feel this vehicle is self captioning...

I'm sort of disappointed nobody has mentioned the page number yet.

Many years ago I was in my middle 20's and took a very attractive young lady on a fairly high end date.  I paid extra for a private table on a dinner train and wore a suit.   All evening people came from other cars to ask if I was someone famous.

"Junior Senator from Iowa" is an amusing answer because nobody knows who the Junior Senator from anywhere is.

I think it means with a "level kit" that lifts the front of a pickup to match the height of the rear.

People who buy trucks for the image like to install level kits to raise the front to the same height as the rear, since they never actutally PUT anything in the bed.

This is a frequent point of discussion among veterinarians. Once someone that meets us at random finds out our profession, chances are that we are going to have to be in a sort of Groundhog Day of conversation.

There's various versions, all boring. We might have to hear about every detail of every pet that anyone in this family has owned, how we're all crooks or what a saint your vet is because he does thousands of dollars worth of work for free while missing his wife delivering their baby... (pause to inhale)...or how you couldn't be a vet because (fill in the blank), or just the brilliant conversation starter of, "You must love animals."

 I remember one online discussion about various alibi options for use during a long flight.

I have forgotten most of them, but forensic accountant for the IRS was one. Insurance salesman was another. My wife seems to recall that undertaker or mortician might have been one of the suggestions.

Being a mechanic is the same, you either get "help me diagnose random problem that I think my mechanic is lying to me about" or "Omg, I had this Mustang once and if I had kept it, it would be worth SO much" only to find out it was straight six powered Ghia.

On the upside, it's fun asking the person to describe the noise the car is making, perferrably more than once. Even more so if people are watching.

Might surprise some of you to know that mods don't visit this thread every day. But when we do, some cleaning up occurs.
