I wonder if you were also too lazy to come to the conclusion that the failure of the two points to be directly opposite each other on the globe in no way refutes the theory that Stonehenge is in fact the protuberant toes of the large-headed men of Easter Island. It is not hard to picture a scenario wherein these large figures are buried in such a way that their heads stick up at 27 S, 109 W and their toes stick up at 51 N, 1 W. It only requires that they are placed in the earth in such a way that their bodies do not pierce the very center of the globe.
