Yeah, but you can fix that for about $12.50. Makes them hard to beat.
I'd like to see how.
One of my friends/ex-coworkers was trying to build an LS2 that could handle high RPM and decided that boost was cheaper.
That is kind of the beauty of the swap, I will admit: it is so easy to make so much power that you never need to get 100% out of it, because the chassis can't handle it.
All the same, I somewhat regret that he didn't have the budget, because an LS2 that you could park at 9000rpm, in an NB, would have been pretty sweet, in sort of the same gratuitous-excess way that flushing a toilet by throwing a grenade in it is pretty sweet.
Cmon guys .. posting without a meme in this thread?

Dude. this thread is full of people not posting memes, they're just posting pictures with words on them. That's not a meme. If you want to complain, complain at everyone else.
(Whoever made this Ha Ha Guy meme image is going really old school - he's B1FFing, which is a thing that dates back to the 1980s)
My lawn, get off of it.

I'm actually pretty impressed by the guy who, although in the process of being run over, is still counter-steering the back end kicking out.

It's total madness and it's awesome.
I had forgotten about this meme.
Idk if I've posted it here before or someone else has, but it appeared again in the SCCA members group and it's just the best

Last time me and some friends went karting it was this sketchy tourist trap place in cave city, kentucky where they essentially just had a tiny oval track. One of us ended up putting some random kid into the wall trying to pass him. I found it far more amusing than I should have but I think I was 16 at the time.
I finally got around to reading some of the SCCA Members Facebook Page. This one made me lol:
