I very nearly took 1st OA once last year. Might have been 2019. Actual 1st OA was a national champion in an Evo. Pete was 2nd OA in a vastly underpowered rear drive E36 M3box, by slightly more seconds than was taken away by bobbling because of a corner worker still on course, and SOMEBODY had too much ego to go and whine about it and request a rerun.
And now I just spent far too long trying to find the video so I could relive the moment. YouTube apparently removed it.
Now I'm annoyed. Greatly

I was sitting in second at Wilmington after day one of a two day champ tour in STF. Went out day 2 and completely blew it. That .7 I was up over 3rd and .9 over 4th was easily overcome by being 1.7 slower than everyone on day two. Wasn't even cone issues, just over driving.
