Nick Cage is Abraham Lincoln, who is contacted by his samurai friend and secret broker Yojimbo via fax to come (do something). The printing telegraph operator is Jeff Goldblum, who has to endure various harrowing and amusing obstacles to deliver the message to Abe. Abe then sets forth for feudal Japan with an increasingly confused Jeff in tow (reason not clear), hijinks ensue, and eventually Abe accidentally introduces democracy and manages to avoid a big chunk of WWII.
I will see this movie. Who is the love interest that is basically a one dimensional character?
Abe is married, so there doesn't need to be a one-dimensional love interest. However, I think Kristen Schaal (voice of Louise on Bob's Burgers) would make a great Mary Todd Lincoln, as long as she tones it down a bit.
Also John Goodman needs to show up somewhere.
I was also disappointed by The Man Who Killed Hitler and then Bigfoot. It should have been campy, but wasn't.

Passed this van on the highway Saturday.
I need a version of that: "I was never cool."

I'd work DEVO into it with, " Through Being Cool."

It MUST BE John Wilkes Booth.
