I occasionally buy fuel scent, because I have found that a ported rotary's heavily unprocessed exhaust at idle is less objectionable when it smells more like vanilla or cherry flavored pipe tobacco.
Still waiting for the pumpkin spice fuel scent.
I miss cherry pipe tobacco smell. When I was a kid any time you went to a public place where there was old guys there would be a few smoking pipes. I cant remember the last time I saw someone with a pipe.

Do you run premix or oil injection? A little 927 creates a nice atmosphere
In reply to Mr. Peabody :
Had to Google that. Never going to run anything castor based in my engines as they leave some seriously disgusting gooey tar residue. And they don't work as good as a lubricant compared to petroleum offerings.
927 is a synthetic blend with de-gummed castor. There’s probably no better 2 stroke lubricant and it burns super clean. Run it 30-1 in my race bikes and the power valves are spotless

French will be here soon to explain the glory of Castrol R, and why it makes Jag engines faster than Corvettes.

Still not going to take the chance. Lots of reports of having to scrape tar out of the INTAKE PORTS with a putty knife, downstream of the fuel injectors, even with "high quality" castor based stuff. People rebuilding their engines after 500-1000mi, which is like a weekend for me.

I got my IP blocked from Google searches because I went out to about page 15 or 20 and that is apparently a sign that I was a bot.

Can't speak to cherry specifically, but I remember a tobacco shop in a mall we used to visit in the early 80s. There were always a few old men sitting around on the benches outside (indoors) smoking pipes, and it always smelled great, whereas cigarettes always smelled like someone was burning a tire stuffed with styrofoam and poopy diapers.
Meme unrelated.
