Then be angry at whomever abused you, and keep scrolling. The only way this should offend you is if that in in fact, a photo of you. Not everything needs to be called out as offensive because of someone's particular situation.

It's really quite simple to figure out if something is ok for you to joke about: is the butt of the joke someone who is oppressed, powerless, or otherwise lower than you on the social or economic spectrum? Then no, it's not ok.
Furthermore, studies show that joking about otherwise socially unacceptable topics normalize them, and makes the topic itself more acceptable to the individual over time. This makes jokes about racism, sexism, abuse, and oppression actually dangerous.
Punching up is comedy. Punching down is bullying. Or worse.

I agree with you. Please show me where the offended party was the butt of the joke in that meme, or where it had anything to do with him at all. Making something about you so you can be "offended" is pretty sad. Not everything is about your situation.

I don't think it was a bad thing for Andy_b to post, and I don't think he was offended. I think floating doc is going out of his way to try and make something out of nothing.
it's like me saying "my grandmother has to use a walker because of a drunk driver, you heartless bastard" below the old lady meme above.
It shouldn't be too much of a stretch to understand how someone who had a bad life experience might have some genuine feelings when seeing a meme that shows another, differerent person appearing to have a similar bad life experience and that experience is being played for laughs.
