I had been up with a screaming toddler for 27 hours at that point. So yeah, I was at the "Berk dem kids point." Sometimes dark, E36 M3ty, or offensive memes are how we cope with dark, E36 M3ty or offensive reality. The memes I've posted about suicide, yeah, same situation.
But when we can't see the difference between absurd humor and actual real acts of awfulness, well, Ima step out for a bit.
*Edit* I have no beef with Floating Doc. I posted the funniest "Berk them kids" meme I could find. I did not know it would be viewed as making light of child abuse. Had I known he was the victim of such thing, I would have likely chosen a different meme. My goal is LOLz, not to dredge up painful memories. For that, I do apologize.

I hope it reaches "offensive breakfast cereals" from Photoshop phriday level

I never said you were offended
5 people gave it a thumbs up, so someone thought it was funny
I am not the one that posted it
its not all about you
lighten up Francis
I thought it was funny as hell.
But then I think this is funny too:

I can get lynch mob coning after me offensive, but don't think i will here....
These are borderline enough for a family friendly place.

But that IS funny, because it's a ridiculous, outlandish situation, not something real that happens every day. Plus the culprit is an animal, not a human parent.
In reply to Duke :
That cartoon was not allowed to be published because it would offend someone.
Whether or not it's funny is just your own perception.
I'd be willing to bet the picture of that kid was taken after he'd thrashed about in his highchair and tipped himself over. I doubt a human parent shoved their own kid over and took the picture because they thought it was funny.
There's a picture of me as a baby, holding a can of Colt 45. I'm 100% sure my father set that picture up because he thought it was funny, not because my parents were horrible and let their child drink malt liquor.
Strangely.... I am learning something from this bickering.
I am actually learning what can be actually offensive and what is acceptable (If uncomfortable).
I didn't fully realize where the line is, and now I think I actually get it.
