I once took my GS750 to the auto parts store for something to make my Subaru run. With both feet down the whole way on 2" of hardpacked snow. Western Mass circa 1995.

we didn't get too much snow on the coastline of va, but one of the "storms" dumped a whole 2-3" overnight.
I decided to try the sporty I had at the time out for no good reason. The throttle cables were frozen up. By the time I got them freed up, the battery was not strong enough to turn it over fast enough to fire off. I decided to go back inside! Been snowed on on the way home from out playing a few times, but was inside before traction problems.

It's a small world.
I was in Westfield and Springfield from 1993-2000. The last year my Nighthawk S was in the road was 1998, and the last few commutes across Springfield were with snow falling.
03Panther: My experience was similar to yours with pavement warm enough that the snow wasn't sticking, but the tires never really warmed up enough to be comfortable when cornering.

I'm curious where you got the Turing Car meme. I made that up yesterday and only posted it here. I'd be amused to know where else it's made its way around the interwebz.
