Mag 4.2 aftershock at 8:04 pm. I felt it! That's really weird for Virginia.
They say that animals are supposed to be in tune to events like this, but my cat didn't move the whole time.

I know I'm pretty unobservant, but I was in quincy a few miles in from the coast and didn't feel crap. The wife was in Belmont and was equally unaware of anything, but she would've been running around at work.

I went out to catch my train home and started asking people why they were out in the street when the follow-up tsunami should be here any minute. The look of panic most of them had made getting out of bed today worthwhile.
that's just evil, Wally. I knew there was a reason why you fit in here perfectly

Felt it a bit in my first bio 101 class of the year, the general consensus among the class was somewhere between "WTF was that?!", "OMG an earthquake!!!" and "DUDE! An earthquake! SWEET!!!" (that one was mine, admittedly )
Felt the aftershock in my kitchen, it was horrible, gently rattled a few hanging pots and pans and I swore for the life of me it was a phone ringing, spent a whole five seconds trying to find it before realizing that shepherd's pie was far more important
My daughter felt it in Heartsville, SC.
Me, I was driving my work van with the out of balance front tire. It could have been a 10.0 right under me and I wouldn't have noticed.
Talked to my sister in NW PA and she didn't feel a thing. Of course she just had a hip replaced last week, so the medication and a nap may have something to with that.
My BIL was getting her prescriptions filled at the moment and everyone in the building felt it. One employee was outside taking a break while sitting in her car; she felt it shake and thought someone was playing a prank until she looked around and couldn't see anyone.

from what I understand. nobody around here felt it. might have a lot to do with the fact that South Jersey is not based on rock. but sand and mud. So I guess I didn't miss it while driving.. we all missed it

Was there another today? At about 1:20 I felt a rumble and the front door shook.
Or maybe they were blasting at the industrial park nearby...

Seismologist have determined that the earthquake in Washington DC was not caused by a fault line, but from the founding fathers rolling over in their graves.

I'm worried that help will never come. Here we are 28 hours later and Bono still has no plans for a benefit concert.
Felt it strongly here from the north shore of Lake Erie (Erieau, Ont.) Local shaking was at least a mag. 4.2-4.4. It actually woke up a houseguest who was lying in bed at the time. Sure travelled well.
