This may actually be a Tech Tip but the cap from the large jug of Tide is the same size as the scoop on a small rice maker.

I was playing the card game "War" with my seven year old son tonight, and I was cheating my ass off.

If you want a really fun card game to play with your kids, try Apples to Apples. My 12yo loves it and we play every time he can talk the family into it.

I had a '97 SL2 - first car I bought brand-new - and I actually miss that car.
I was browsing the magazine aisle in the grocery store last night when two kids wandered up and started thumbing through the magazines.
I cropdusted the whole area and then left.
I am seriously considering the option of selling two really fun older cars and replacing them with one newer certified pre-owned car with a warranty.
If I'm in a fast street car, I'll drive like a dick, guaranteed. I need to be in a 100hp penalty box in order to drive like a decent human being.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm in the same boat. I'm at the age now that I only enjoy wrenching when I can set my tools down and walk away whenever I please. The "1.5 hours to do a head swap so I can make it to work"....way, way over that phase.
I was a few minutes late to work today, even after leaving way early. I told the boss it was because there was a pickup stuck in the snow, blocking my cul de sac.
I didn't tell him it was mine.
I signed up for a mandatory training as far from my normal work areas as possible just so I don't have to see people I normally see in training and meetings.
I put away my tools and came in from the garage about two hours earlier than I needed to today. My wife was surprised and asked if I was done already.
I said, "It's just not fun anymore."

I was busy at work and couldn't do a water pump and a "remove the alternator" to change the t-stat on my wife's Trailblazer. I totally got jammed in price by my mechanic.
Part of me is happy I didn't have to change that stuff out.

BTDT.
I've also turned on the shop lights. Looked around, turned them off and went inside to watch TV.

I had to Google. Downton Abbey comes up as a possibility.

+1
I just watched all 3 of the original Star Wars movies between Saturday and Sunday. First time I had seen 5 and 6 in their entirety. I'm trying hard to not become a fanboi, but I think that wifey and I will go and see it sometime this week.
I hired a guy to finish the duct work in my shop. I used to this sort of thing myself and I still could but I just don't have any interest in doing it anymore.
