As I stood in line to buy my calorie reduced vitamin water this morning, I judged the guy in front of me with a nos energy drink, a pack of smokes and a bag of Twinkies.
I felt like doing the Church Ladies "superior dance".
I judge you for buying "calorie reduced vitamin water".
I shoot snot rockets into the trash can under my desk. The box of tissues is just a ruse.
nice to find out I'm not the only one that does that
big mustache ... tissues just leave nastiest all over mustache ...snot rocket ... nice and clean ... no residue on mustache
I worked with a guy that was allergic to grass and we would have to go look at farmers' wheat fields during pollination. He would blow out huge snot rockets. I was amazed. Several years later the next door neighbor would do the same thing while cutting the grass. Again I was amazed. I tried it and thought, where the hell has that been all my life?
I eat my Footlong 1/4 lb Chili Cheese Coney with onions and jalapenos from Sonic... with a spoon.
I fart alot and then blame the kids

The first album was fantastic from start to finish. The second and third were pretty damn good. After that it was all down hill, especially after Terry Kath's death.
I REALLY like the Stanley Brothers ( since '66 it's been just Ralph Stanley, and I REALLY like him) ... they've (he's) been pumping out records, tapes, now CD's since the '40's
Ralph will turn 89 in Feb, and is still touring and doing studio work ... the last of the original high lonesome sound where bluegrass started ...
Bill's gone, Flatt's gone, Earl's gone ... Ralph is the last ... it'll be a sad sad day when he has to stop making music ...
I dig Blood, Sweat, and Tears.
I called my boss from McDonald's. Told her the roads were too nasty to work today, and that we should close the service for the day.
I've been wanting a three day weekend.
First time I've been grateful for snow in a long time.

Agreed.
It's been about twenty years since I've last seen him perform. Which is twenty years too long.

I think I saw Ralph Stanley and Mac Weisman maybe 20-22 years ago. It was not a huge place and snow kept the crowd down even further. Great show.

Yes it will.
Going to a jam tonight that I've been going to for over 10 years; I started when I was around 14. We're having a memorial in the Bluegrass room for a jamming buddy who passed last month.
As an aside, I think it is weird that thr... two (RIP, Doug) Jews and some Polacks from Chicago are playing bluegrass.
I knew there was someone here that plays is a bluegrass band (Atlanta base picker) didn't realize there were others
really happy to hear ... I started dating a gal ('79/'80) that had a nice collection of bluegrass vinyl and I started listen to her records whenever I was at her house ... later that summer I went to the festival at Lavonia Ga ... 10 day long festival .. on stage picking weekend 1, instruction from the different bands thought out the week and then on stage picking on the last weekend ... needless to say, even if I didn't play an instrument, I was hooked ... just dropped my subscription of XM radio because they dropped the "bluegrass junction" over Christmas so they could play hanukkah music ... when they got in touch to ask why, I pointed out to them, that if they were willing to do that once, I was pretty sure they'd do it again .. and I pretty much listen to "bluegrass Junction" and Willies Roadhouse to the exclusion of all others ... so I was out

First album I bought was Chicago's Greatest hits. I loved those songs.
Minor confession: I'm probably going to spend Challenge money to pay someone else to fix the rust on my car. The estimate is two fenders, two complete rockers, and a couple other points that will probably have to be patched.
They do awesome work, though. And they aren't very busy because there haven't been any collisions lately due to the utter lack of weather. And I came to the realization that as much as I want a WRX Evolution Type R-Design, I kinda like being car-payment free. And headlight wipers. Headlight wipers friggin' rule.
I'm more excited about working on the duster than I was to lose my virginity.
Hell, it's taken me about the same time. ...
20 seconds?
Okay, okay, I'm leaving now.
