I saw a stanced liberty and Forrester yesterday, and liked them.
I just seriously considered the idea of getting a helmet and painting it up like Maverick's. The thing that turned me off the idea is not the fact that it's probably the opposite of cool, it's the fact that many many people have probably already done this.
I'm not a big sports fan but I went and watched my nephew's T-ball game today and really enjoyed it. It was the best laugh I've had in a while, especially when the discovery of "cool bugs" near third base cleared the benches.
I'm not a huge Zeppelin fan, but do have an album or two. However, every time "The Ocean" comes on the radio I'm disappointed that it's not "She's Crafty" by the Beastie Boy's.

There are 2 lowered Foresters running around town. Not stanced, but sitting like an autox-ready WRX. I love them both and I'd drive either of them in a heartbeat.
I kinda like my wife's XT250 better than my WR250X. At least in certain aspects. Certainly not in a straight line...
I have like G-wagens since I was a kid and a guy near my elementary school had a gray market one, red with the plaid vinyl interior. I haven't really scene a newer one I really liked until I saw a light purple one in the dealer in Manhattan. If I ran into money I would buy it now.
I had never heard of hd radio before a few months ago. I got a tuner. Now, I'm doing everything I can to add it to all my cars.
I'm sure most of us have felt this way at one time or another but, more and more I find no joy in wrenching on cars. The '98 Outback Sport 2.2, 5MT I snagged a few weeks back with the plan of eventually passing on to my daughter really cemented the feeling yesterday.
Shortly after buying it I put it up on jackstands and:
Changed the gearbox and rear diff oil
flushed and bled the brake system
replaced the broken sway bar endlinks
replaced worn out ball joints
changed the timing belt, tensioner, idlers, water pump and oil pump
The feeling of accomplishment at the end of it all did not make up for the tedium of the tasks or the pain in the ass that are rusted parts and fasteners.
I think I've made this confession before. As I have aged I have become acutely aware of just how limited our time here can be so I'd much rather spend that time doing something that brings me joy rather than cussing a rusted bolt.
And of course there's the Scoob patiently waiting for it's turn under the knife. That will probably end up in the rant thread. LOL

I have a Kenwood aftermarket HD radio add on unit just sitting on the porch. Worked when I pulled it a year ago, it's yours for shipping cost. Even have the fancy cable to tie it to the head unit, and it has a port on the back for a disc changer or whatever to be connected to it as well. I've just been far to lazy to want to deal with posting it on eBay. The cable cost more than the whole unit when I bought it, still going for a pretty healthy price.
I'm rebuilding my deck. I'm stone cold sober.
I just made a hole, stuck the sawzall in and cut the board I was standing on.
I want to take the fuel injected bridge ported 4 port 13B out of my Mazda and install a sidedraft carbureted stockport 6-port. I think I'm getting too old for that E36 M3.
OTOH, I also want to put in a Cleveland-headed 289 with a tunnel ram.
I wonder if anyone makes a tunnel ram for LS engines...
(moments later: OH MY GOD SOMEONE DOES)
I've been driving the Manic Miata to work a lot lately. Apparently my combover switches between Link Wray and Sid Caesar depending on if I drive the Miata or the BMW.

Pretty much the same for me. There are a few exceptions.

I've seen 1 porsche that ever did anything for me. A 79 RUF with a metric ton of cash thrown at it. All I see is a beetle when I look at them, no matter what options or power levels or creature comforts they advertise. Was starting to feel like an outsider in the car world because of it.
I bought a 2006 P71 today. I've driven it 40 miles. I already like it more than my BMW 635csi. A lot more.
Anyone want to buy a E24?
For years now, I've wanted to do an April fool's what car thread. In it, I'd describe a Miata, but keep settling on other cars. "I'm looking for something reliable and easy to get parts for, with good handling." "Miata?" "Nah, I don't want front drive. Maybe a Corolla? Weren't they rear drive? I would rather a convertible, but it doesn't sound like there are any options." "Yeah, get a Miata. They're rear drive, and a convertible." "But I'm hoping for something that I can get with a manual..."
And so on.
I figured I'd eventually post that I'd bought a Toyota Avalon TSS.
I just don't have the heart to do it.
