There have been coydogs sighted in some of the outer suburbs. Might have seen one myself, basically a really odd looking dog running into the woods.

Last year while working in the driveway at night I heard a pack of them take something down on the other side of the tracks. A few weeks after that i saw one walking down the road when i was leaving for work. Haven't seen any since then.

I have been trying to remember all day what it is I want to order for my Disco.. for the life me of, I can't remember what it was.

A roof top tent.

close, it was the gaskets to seal the roof bars to the roof. I replaced mine with some tubular ones from Rockyroad but the original passengerside one was busy decomposing so I replaced it with some sponge rubber. It drips, so I had to order the originals from the UK.
as for RTTs, they are nice, but they get in the way of my Kayak, rowing shell, and the mast to my sail boat, all of which I carry atop the disco when needed. I am actually in the designing phase of putting together an internal bed I can put in and remove when needed

Windy night last night and this morning. I heard something rattling around over my head. Went outside and saw a piece of the roof edging was loose. Two of the bedrooms are under almost-flat dormers with modified bitumen roofing.
After fixing the fridge (not really a rant, just proof of my father's old adage that "it's never nothing"), I got out the ladder, screw gun, and a pocket full of screws.
Went up and it's much worse than that. The original 2x fascia behind the 1x PVC trim and gutter is rotting out, which has allowed the whole roof edge to come apart.
The gutter and fasciae all have to come off and get replaced. The mod bit roofing is probably 20 years old, so thanks to "while we're in there" I will probably get all that stripped off and replaced. I'm hoping that the sheathing isn't all shot too.
Replacing the motor mounts on my 7.3 is kicking my butt. Like badly. I have at least 6 hours in them so far, and that doesn’t count everything else I’ve done to get to a point that I can do them. (Currently replacing the transmission, water pump, and a bunch of other things.)

Thinking about getting a new engine hoist that’ll be more flexible. And the load leveler to go along with it. Frustrating.
Oh, not to mention that 2 of the bolts that are started into the motor mount, I suspect are cross threading. Likely going to pull that one all back apart to make sure it’s not.

Ive been trying CBD for my headaches.....and it's working well.
It isn't a miracle and takes away all the pain, but it puts it down to an easily dealt with level and I can function. This is a huge improvement
Went to look at a $1500 trailer today. It needed: fenders, tires, a jack, paint, and frame repair. Literally one of the sketchiest rigs I've seen in a while. Told them it was (at best) a $500 piece of scrap metal to build a trailer out of. They responded that they'd just towed it down from Cincinnati with an F-150 loaded on it.
berkeleying terrifying

Oh, no. No, no, no no, no, no. This is now a 10,000hp nitro burning Top Fuel hemi headache. Those hospital charts, with the faces to indicate pain? This bastard is pushing 9.5.

That's why I spent $2000 on a brand new trailer. After a few years I can sell it for the same price and buy another one instead of buying tires.

I did mounts in a 7.3 a couple of years ago and they were a ever loving pain in the ass to get lined up. I seem to remember getting one side in place and prying the engine around with a 8' pinch bar to get the other one in place. It was a 3 man job.
I'm so bored with work. Got a lot to do. It is just boring and I DON'T CARE. Ugh. We had an intern doing this. We hired said intern full time. He then gave his notice because he got a scholarship for an MBA. And now this report is late because I JUST DON'T CARE. And I don't think anyone else does either, but we gotta have it done.
I curbed the rear passenger side wheel on my wife's new to us car on Saturday. I was very much not happy with myself.

I think the frames tweak under the load over time. Every Diesel mount I have done involved heavy prying to line up, too.
2012-up Ford Focuses. My nephew’s girlfriend has one that has been trouble for a while. A ways back, they dropped $$ for transmission work at the dealer, and a couple weeks ago, the shudder came back shortly after the warranty for the repair ended. Then, a week ago, it started throwing two codes (one is throttle stuck closed and the other is throttle stuck open) at the same time, and barely being able to idle. He went through all the reset and relearn options he could find online, and at one point it was working again for part of a day, then failed again. Replaced the throttle body with a used one, recalibrated it, and it still has the problem. Ford tech he knows says it could be a shorted wire in the harness, so I’ll probably be helping him dig through that. My online research is pointing more towards a failed ECM, but I’m having trouble finding out what can be done DIY. I have doubts I can pull another ECM from the same model year and just have it work, looks like there is programming involved, and I have doubts a Ford dealership is going to be happy to reprogram a used one, when they can charge a fortune for one. There’s also a rebuild service for them that I found, but I’m leery of sending it out on the hopes that does the trick.
A car with less than 100K miles should not be having these problems.
Dmv never sent my new liscence. Despite renewal. Now i cant even do a scrap metal run or buy a new phone because mt plastic AND paper liscence are expired. So im in line. Again. Uave to pay. Again.

I've done that. Twice. (Un)fortunately so has she.

I believe it. So far I've been working along on it. Gonna have to call in reinforcements.

maybe it was a nice looking $2000 trailer before towing that F-150?
