That CAN'T be real. I'm gonna have to stop complaining about all the bad remakes of old movies if this is what passes for a good idea for a new one.

Currently #1 on our Netflix queue. I'm not sure whether to be excited or scared.

It has Kate Beckinsdale in it therefore it is an excellent movie. Just mute the sound if you need to.
Six frikkin' years. That's been around for six years and this is the first I've heard of it. Damn that infernal rock I've been living under. I've got to get out more.
nooo...dont get too upset about not haviong heard of this sooner, I have seen that flick and its ...well ...creepy...truly. Beckinsale can only do so much to save a movie. Gary oldman (while shorter than most, nut not a full on little person) plays a midget/little person (sorry...not sure what the PC term is), and seeing him cast like that and around other little people really iws kinda weird to the point of creepy

You know, somehow you were the FIRST person that came to my mind when asking myself the question: "Who would have already seen this?"
Take that as you like.
This one was released straight to DVD. If you did see this it was in the bargain bin and not at the theatre.

My wifes favorite character in her favorite movie.
Joey
Drexl Spivey: He must have thought it was white boy day. It ain't white boy day, is it?
Marty: No man, It ain't white boy day.
Oldman has done some crazy roles, for certain. He played the Devil in one of the BMW films "The Hire", where he was bargaining with James Brown for his soul. They settled it in a street race, eventually getting blown up in his superchargered Charger. The final twist (involving Marylyn Manson) will make you LOL!

That's my second favorite of "The Hire" series behind "Star" starring Madonna and directed by Guy Ritchie. I wonder now if there was an awful lot of truth in that story about their relationship.
