What's the weight vs a hayabusa engine? Does the extra weight justify the awesome swap? Keep in mind, the target car will weight in at 1500 lbs with driver. Most of them are running around with 1200cc Yamaha engines, the Busa swap is super popular for the road racing guys.
I was mostly joking in the vein of the V8 bikes shown earlier in the thread.
I don't think it's the droid you're looking for. It's a fairly light motor, but you're probably looking at ~350lbs dressed.

Horsepower is just an efficiency, granted that triumph engine would suck in a lightweight car that you want rpms in.
To be honest, I'd go with whatever inline(or V) 4 you can get for the cheapest, then boost it. At that point anything(if it holds together) will be fast.
