I'm not usually one to watch the NASCAR truck series but I really like this race at the Eldora dirt track every year. Its on tonight just a heads up.

got the dvr setup... should be recording like 6 hours of stuff.. is that Kyle Larson kid running again, because he put on one hell of a show last year.
edit: thought i had my dvr set, but now i gotta figure out where Fox Sports 2 is on the Dish to get everything.. i think it's up in the 200's... why do they do this to us????
Even if you don't like NASCAR--or maybe especially if you don't like NASCAR--watching drivers who may not be used to driving on dirt driving racecars not really designed for driving on dirt is something you don't want to miss.
Maybe it'll rain, too.
EDIT: maybe Eldora can reach out to Indycar or F1 next...

Sadly no. As heard on Sirius NASCAR last night in your best southern drawl "Kyle Larson hit everything but the lottery last year."
that Pierce kid did a pretty good Larson impersonation towards the end there...
i love wildcard races like this: the ones where the no name dirt track racers have a shot at showing the better known- and better funded- asphalt guys how it's done. they even took the Dillon boys to school, and those kids grew up on a diet of clay and dirt for 2 out of 3 meals every day when they were growing up..
I love that by the end the way to make the truck turn was just drive it into the wall and let it bounce off.
i dvr'ed all the qualifying races so i could watch it after work, but i didn't get the last half of the LCQ because they switched from FS2 to FS1 RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE berkeleyING RACE ...as in, right in the middle of a lap.. one of the guys said something about switching over to FS1, then 20 seconds later i was watching some collegiate billiards or something like that.. the FS1 coverage wasn't scheduled to start for about a half hour after that, so i didn't get recorded. it was looking like a pretty good race, too..
