And how come I was never this popular in high school?
Not one of your latest followers, but an ex of mine who is near that mark follows you and isn't shy to point out that you're one of her favorite follows.
When I first joined Instagram, I kept getting hacked by Russian bots posing as models. I swear that I never interacted with them. For some reason, I attracted those types. It must be the fast cars. Once I changed my email password (yes, you read that right - my email password), it stopped. Be wary of those types!
I imagine a world where the spam bots follow each other in a large cirlce and have long AI conversations with each other trying to scam the other bot out of clout.
At least I wish that is what happens. Thankfully I somehow have avoided getting the 20 comments of "Send your pic to Motor_wrld_drft_planet" content farm accounts looking to repost my stuff for their financial gain.
Wait does that mean my stuff isn't interesting? One of my Reels somehow has 215k views.. that's a non-zero number.

I had a good laugh when you shared that you were learning "new ways of saying something is awesome". Also following for more cool stuff. Don't let me down.

Apparently this happens on dating sites, two scammers trying to convince each other to send them amazon gift cards lol.

Evan?
Hello?
In reply to EvanB :
Bachelorette #2's name is listed as "Evan Hudson".
If that is you I'm even more interested now!
So let me get this straight: There's an internet "app" called "Instagram" that allows a variety of nutballs and "bots" to stalk the objects of their affection in cyberspace? I feel both out of touch and grateful that I have zero experience with such an "app."
Carry on, then.

Sadly I am not a billionaire from a wealthy family.

Heh, I missed that. But I try not to judge.

Um, it's not really any different than posting here on the GRM forums, you know. Instagram's model is that you can post stuff to your public feed, and people who are interested in what you have to post can choose to "follow" you and see it. Just like here on the forums, if you don't want the world to know about it then you don't post it.
Stalking someone on instagram is a bit like stalking David Wallens by reading his column in GRM every month.

And I'll keep my motives to myself, thank you.
Like it owes you money
I got so fed up with the scammers that I changed my account to Private. Not great when you're trying to build a following, but it's a lot less annoying (for now).
If you want the full experience, you can follow my other Instagram account, too. :)
You'll need to log in to post.
