i found my truck a new home. my buddy has need for a small shop truck and loves the thing. while i would have loved cash, we made a trade we both could live with. he gets the truck, i get a whole low mile T56 setup from the pedals out for the 54. i figure it was pretty straight across as i was asking 1200 for the truck and he wanted 1300 for the tranny and all the parts. i think his asking price was very reasonable, and honestly the truck owed me nothing. i had about 1200 into it including purchase price and i picked up and hauled in close to 5 grand in scrap with it over the time i owned it.

the 1990 c1500 shortbed that replaces the sonoma is on the road as of thursday. i will miss the little truck but the fullsize bed is more suited to what i use it for, and it is nice to have all my trucks have interchangeable parts since i've got the 90 c3500, the 94 burban, and a 96 burban parts truck.
