There's an older retired gentleman here named Dick Queen. I can only imagine how much of a badass he had to have been to make it this far. He's a really nice guy though.

I know not one or two or three but FOUR people named Dave Jones.
None of them have lockers or are misspelled monkeys, to the best of my knowledge.

Idk, there are just the typical Harry Johnson and such around here.....I never cared. When in college, my math class did convince the "fresh off the boat" Asian teacher that "Me love you long time" was an acceptable farewell.

Wiener = Vienna
Took me a bit to figure out why we were using wiener malt in germany. I think that guys name means something like Vienna Keep (as in a castle).
Had a girlfriend who was a kindergarten teacher. She had a student whose first name, on the birth certificate, Doctor. Parents had great hopes. Should go on to be an attorney.

Lots of Indians, South Koreans and Vietnamese have names that are unintentionally hilarious to us English-speakers (Mandeep and Baldeep are Indian, and Mandeep is pretty common).
Had a guy post a pic on the local forums from inside a British taxi, driver's name was Sook Kok.
Oh and don't forget about pre-WW2 racing driver Richard Seaman. Announcers called out his name as Dick Seaman with a straight face all the time.

Went to school with a girl by the name of Mannlicher and pronounced exactly like she wished it wasn't.
There's some dead US politician whose name was Harry Balls, the correct pronunciation being the most comical one. His descendants like it pronounced "Bales."
I know some hmongs with greatful parents that named them Goodson and Newlife. I also went to college with a guy named Pornsak. Nice guy, quiet, but nice.
I went to college with a dude named Michael Hunt. His middle name was "Patrick." His parents ALMOST named him Patrick Michael Hunt.
The best was that he OWNED that name. First day of classes was always hilarious and the professors were often completely mortified.
Since then, i've talked to a "Butts B. Lickin" at work, as well as "Bandana Garg."

I don't get it...is it because of what "Mike Hunt" sounds like?

Yep. Then if his parents hadn't changed the order....
Pat Mike Hunt.
