My wife and I found a local farm that sells whole raw un pasteurized cows milk for “pet consumption” It appears that there are a lot of people in the metro Atlanta area who have pets at home that haven’t been weaned . Let me tell you, If God made anything better, He kept it for Himself. Please discuss your thoughts on big government telling us what is good and bad for us and deciding weather we can make food consumption choices for our selves.
We used to get that out here in Montana in the mid 80s. Pure awesomeness. Not the best for your heart, though. If you have the means, I recommend at least trying it once.

I'd be more than a little sketched out...
You've eaten worse at a fast food restaurant. Trust me.
Add an ice cream churn and fresh peaches. Now you're in heaven.

I'll have what 4cylndrfury is having.
We used to get it raw from a farm, and quality really ranged on what the cows where eating, raw(green) hay Vs. dried and stored hay. These days I cant stand anything stronger than 1%
I grew up in dairy country......used to take a pitcher and dip right in to the bulk tank. YUMMM!
have also hand milked right into my cup. pretty good, but prefer it cold.

I believe it is that standard in Europe...
...OK, some of them are a bit "sketchy", but I don't think it's the milk.
Wait... this thread isn't about beer?
WTF. Are you trying to give us polio fer chrissake!? Aside from beef, the cow's sole purpose for living is to make cream for coffee and ice cream. Any other use is just wrong.

Certainly not here! Maybe those wacky French drink it raw.
I like my milk but I'll take good old 1.5% pasteurised from the farmer's market up the street, thanks. I do make a point to buy the local stuff though.

We had a neighbor with a milk cow when I was a kid and my wifes fambly had a dairy farm in upstate N.Y. so we are both in heaven. I have an ice cream churn but I dont like peaches, show me your ice cream recipies.
Spent my late teens on a ranch.....no thank you. Been there done that.
FIne if you pick it up but would never in a million years buy something that had been shipped.
Bought at the dairy, stuck in a cooler for the ride home, poured in a glass and began consuption all with in 30 min.
We have a dairy farm in the family, so I suppose I could have it whenever I want. But have you ever worked in a dairy barn? Anything that comes out of those filthy animals better be sanitized, pasteurized, filtered and then washed and cooked before I eat it!!
My daughter does'nt seem to mind:
My wife does:
Beef. Its what's for dinner:
Holy crap milk is weird when you think about. Ever wonder about that first guy to drink it?
"hmmmm. I'm going to squeeze that, and drink whatever comes out of it.". I wonder how many things he tried before he tried a cow?

What about blowfish?
Someone eats it and dies.
In any normal country we think: "Damn, better not eat that"
In feudal Japan some warlord thinks: "Damn, there must be SOME part of this thing that isn't poisonous. Bring me another servant!"
