My wife dinged up the front corner of her car the other month in a parking deck. For a base, worst case scenario I got an estimate from the dealer for $1700 for all new VW parts. Now I'm looking for what a normal repair would cost sans the price of buying parts from zee motherland. Anyone know a good body shop near Atlanta? I used to know of an old man in downtown Tucker that did great work, but slow a Christmas. If my wife has no problems driving our backup beater for a few weeks I might go that route (if the old man is still around).

SCCA guys who do everything from racecars to Ferraris. They did good work on my E39 and were flexible with my doing my own junkyard diving for parts. Tell them I said hey.
there is Classic Collision, one in Alpharetta and one in Duluth that i know of, we used them for Lamborghini body work and my dad used them for Ferrari body work...
