Need a job?

At a cannon factory?  US Army  is hiring NDT Inspectors, machinists, machinist apprentices, paper pushers, fork lift drivers, secretaries, the works.

They just hired 70 people this summer, ramping up for something.

Awesome stuff. This is probably a good career track. 

I left there at 61 with 42 years service.  Fun stuff.

So the army builds its own cannons? Interesting.

That industry is booming. 

You could really get your career on target. 

It's worth a shot.

Working there would be a blast.

If you get laid off, they find you another job in the Federal system.  Friend of mine got the gate because he was not a Veteran (veteran noob stays, non-vet with 45+ years gets tossed), anyway, Steve was sent to the Smithsonian to work as a tool maker in their back room - warehouse.

There are some inexpensive places to live up there and you'll be down the block from a bakery that makes some great glazed donuts.

Sure Spit, but I've got one wife and four bedrooms.  Garage is 24 X 42 but full of airplane right now.
