Sorry to feel the need to post here for something like this, but it's really important. If mods feel the need to remove it, I understand, but we are trying to reach as many people as possible. The niece of a dear friend of ours is missing and we are trying to get as many leads as possible. She is under age.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Louis

Also, the mark on her wrist is a tattoo. A band member of a band she likes signed her arm and she had it inked in. It would make her pretty easy to identify if not covered.
No violation, good luck with your search.
At least they should be easy to identify.
I only know one person in CO, but I will send this pic in an email. Good luck, hopefully shes just imposing her dominance as she nears adulthood, and she will turn up safe and sound
This is the hard part about being a parent.

And word or idea as to where she might go?

Have they blasted this out on Facebook yet?
Good luck with the search.
Sorry for my double post - I forgot that my husband said he'd post for me here. This is all over Facebook - and I'd like to ask all of you to feel free to post this around on any forums you frequent. The only contacts we have had from her since the night of the concert is via text message, so that doesn't even confirm that it was her who sent them. This is VERY worrisome, she was a good student, not the type to skip school, and not the type to runaway. We have no clue where she might be, all we know is that she was last seen at the concert in Fort Collins Co. with a guy driving a bumper-sticker-covered green Subaru. :(

Has this gotten off to the Subaru boards yet?
I am not really sure which Subaru boards are hot.
http://forums.nasioc.com/ if anyone's a member (I'm not)

Wife put it up on NASIOC. Thanks, and thanks for all the responses/well wishes. You don't think of this happening to anybody you know, but I can tell you, it puts a really bad feeling in your gut.

Any way they can ping the cell phone provider to see where that last message was sent from? I know at least some of em can tell you what tower it bounced off of, that might give you an area to start in.

That's what I was thinking. I know people that have been stranded in the snow in their cars have been found by tracing their cell phone signal. I gotta believe they could narrow it down quite a bit. Not sure what the police have done with this, if anything. I guess one of the complaints of the parents is that the police seem to only be treating it as a runaway case and not taking it seriously enough. They believe, with good reason IMO, that if she was really planning to run away, she wouldn't have left virtually everything at home.

^Exactly. Unless of course she REALLY wanted to disappear, and did it on purpose, left anything reasonably traceable at home... cards/id's things like that. Personally, I'd be a little worried about 20yr old with a green mohawk lol.

More info here from her high school website:

Apparently, the car was a green Outback with a lot of bumper stickers on it and the guy had a black mohawk.
good luck with this, but i would think about the worst that might happen though. i do hope she is found un harmed though.

Wow--this is an unsettling thread.
Man, I hope all ends well. Like spitfirebill says, something like this is the scariest part of being a parent.
scary stuff man. Hope it all turns out well.
Sans the tattoo and add about 6 months of baby growth and she looks just like my secretary.
I hope this turns out well for you guys.
I have no other details now - but Kelley is home. :)
