the universe has provided after looking at a bunch of E36 M3ty cars. Found the new weekend car. 25k miles two owners, new everything with full service history.
Has the full crafter front and rear bumper eliminators, chrome front end, big stereo and about the most perfect paint that I have seen on a 25 year old car. Lots of PO nonsense like stick on chrome which has been removed.
spent about six hours getting the most pressing needs fixed and it's a very happy car now. Logs show that it has only been driven 150-200 miles in the last six year. I have down double that so far and having fun. Had a good number of these and purple is not my favorite color on them but this one with all the chrome is growing on me l.

We're going to need more pictures. Lots more.
Looks like a very nice example.
Oh, yeah, that works so well in purple.
Congrats.
There are so few other cars out there that look like the Prowler. Congrats and have fun!
This one has a ton of custom work done to it. Apparently it was given away modified at a KISS concert and the new owner sold it back to the dealer that did all the work. Then owned by the wife of the dealership for like 10 years.
I am not posing the panther mural painted inside the car yet but because I have not gotten a good photo but that's the only thing that I really need to change.

I'm gonna go further, I think they should only come in purple.
Need a bumper less front end pic!
Losing the front bumpers is winning at life.
Wasn't there some guy who stuffed a V10 into one of these? Maybe you should follow suit, yeah?
She's got the eyes of a panther!

Hellcat swap is available as a kit. Though I have heard that several of the Paxton supercharger kits are still in stock and carb legal for about 4.5k as leftovers. That is the likely path if I want more power. Though frankly they are plenty fast for the street already. People compare them to modern cars and forget just how slow say 1999 mustang ehich was a competitor at the time.

We should start a "hero of the month" nomination. Weary is the July, 2024 winner not only cause of the Prowler but the 'vette, bike, cool jack......
Not a "hero" like he saved kids from a burning orphanage but more like the Bette Midler song......don't you know that you're my hero? You are the wind beneath my wings.........THAT hero...

Re: "The Panther" Don't. You. Dare!
I think the styling has held up very well on these things. It looks like it could have just rolled out of the studio. And another vote for the purple. I think it's the best color for these cars.
I'd be fine with the basic V6 at this point. All gas engines are slow now that we've gone electric. Slow enough that they're kind of charming now. As soon as a mommy box can blow you off at the light, it all becomes irrelevant.
Enjoy your beautiful Prowler.
Purple Panther Prowler needs the Hellcat upgrade to go over the top!
The fact this was a factory built car still blows my mind. Where did our balls to build weird, cool E36 M3 go?
