Take back the first 3 minutes of that Panthers/Seahawks game and the Panthers get their butts kicked. The past several weeks or so have seen the Panthers barely avoid losses in the final plays of the game. It's just pure dumb luck they are where they are. Kinda like missing an easy 27 yard field goal kick. It's always better to be lucky than good. I thought the Steelers played the better game, but just got beat. Even Green Bay made one heckuva run. A coin toss can decide the whole game.
I think them vs Arizona will be telling
I really loved watching Gronk bitching to the refs for making the correct call......and Broncos vs ?
I like that the Patriots ended that game on an interception in the endzone.
Reminds me of something, can't quite place it.
Now if only the Cardinals could do... well, anything against the Panthers, that'd be great.
berkeley Cam Newton.
Wow, that Denver/Patriots game was fantastic. Brady looked spooked after getting pounded into the dirt over and over and over, and it's hard to get into his head. Brady and Gronk are always a terrifying combination, but they just missed out on the big plays that they usually pull off. Manning also played his best game of the year, which is not his usual playoff behavior.
Manning vs Newton could make for a fun Super Bowl. Or, more accurately, Von Miller and Ware vs Newton.
Late game does deliver hilarity......2 interceptions on back to back plays.
So happy to see the Pats lose. Brady getting pounded all day was icing on the cake.

By about the 3rd quarter Brady was getting really gun shy......great defense Denver has built.
Holy crap, Arizona is getting dismantled.

Yikes. Hoping DEN comes to play this time unlike a few years back. Hoping for a good game.
Last time the Broncos went to the Super Bowl, it was on their offense. This time, they've got the best defense in the league. And they're going up against a hot young qb with a great offense.
This could be fun.

Yes. I haven't seen cam make good decisions under pressure. The second half of the Seahawks vs Carolina game was telling. Cam got shut out and he started screaming at eveyone on the sideline. If the Broncos being the pass rush like they did against Brady, it will be a very interesting game
Ah...another Superbowl of not giving a E36 M3 about.

Looks like the Panthers finally figured out how to play the second half as well as the first. I don't see the Broncos being able to handle those guys, but I've been wrong before.
Defense wins across the board.

Defense wins yes, but the Panther D is not too shabby. We'll see how it goes, but I wouldn't count out the Panthers.
In reply to ncjay:
I still believe they actually know how to, just that they've been toying with opponents or slacking after large first half leads.

The Broncos must have watched the Panthers/Cardinals game. I wonder what went through their minds as they watch the Cardinals get pummeled and beaten down. They've got two weeks to figure it all out.
I'll bet they watch it today. Yesterday was for celebrating.
I expect the game tape review will mostly consist of Von Miller and Ware going "I could have sacked him there. And there. And there. Right there, I would have pulled his left leg off."
In reply to Keith Tanner:
Isn't Newton bigger than them?
According to the Googles - Von Miller and Newton are the same weight, but Newton is 2" taller. Ware is 1" shorter than Newton but has 15 lbs on him. Newton's a strong kid, but those two are guided missiles with a singular goal of taking down the QB and stealing the ball. Takes a lot to get into Brady's head, but they had him scared.
Newton probably has the most effortless looking long pass of any current QB. It's amazing.

I just wish he'd stop with the dabbing. If he wants to continually do over the top celebrations throughout the entire game, then I guess that's his call. I find it to be in poor taste, but the dab is mimicking the violent cough from smoking a dab...a form of highly concentrated marijuana. I don't get using a drug reference to celebrate. Is the dab a gateway celebration? Will he start pretending to shoot up next year? Where will it end?
In reply to Keith Tanner:
We'll see how this one plays out, it should be interesting.
I finally found the Christmas gem uploaded to YouTube....

I saw this, had to post it.
Carolina's offensive line and max protection scheme is going to have to work for them to win.
what a bunch of shiny happy people

Oh that is clever! Especially coming from a fan base of a team with a drug addled owner, that had crowd noise piped into their old stadium. Of course they never got in trouble for it, but it happened. I'm sure Mr. Pinnochio himself was leaving their field after another win by the way. Stay classy Indianapolis.
