Yeah, because the two in this thread already called for them losing this past week to the Jets. We're not all shiny happy person fans(just most of us). There's no denying Brady's greatness though. Even non-Pats fans have to admit he's pretty good.
He is good, a once in a million draft pick. You guys should however be concerned with your defense, as it doesn't seem to be up to snuff. Luckily for you guys, the rest of the league is in disarray. LoL

A good QB is enough. There are no "perfect" teams in this league. Denver has a great defense, but their QB practically needs a walker to get to the line of scrimmage. Dallas has the best O-line in the league, but their QB can't stay healthy and their RBs are nondescript. Seattle came the closest to having all aspects covered, but they appear to have made a bad investment in Jimmy Graham, and the big salary cap advantage they had a couple of years ago has gone away now that guys like Russel and Sherman are getting paid market value. Heck, look at Green Bay. They lost their best WR in the preseason, and their star RB has been a huge disappointment. But they are still unbeaten. Why? Aaron Rodgers. Because a good QB is enough.

I'd say Green Bay's success has more to do with other players stepping up, than just one guy.

I think you're both right. A good QB and a decent organization/team environment will put you in the playoffs year after year. The rest of the package and some luck gets you a ring. I'd agree that the pats defense this year might not be good enough for the ring.
In reply to bluej:
They will lose before the playoffs, that's for sure.
Im more of a Belechick hater than a Pats hater. The reason is because I am very petty and hold a grudge because he cut Kosar for Testaverde (Fun fact: Testaverde is Spanish for "Green Testa" )
We had a customer named Steve Casagrande. I took much joy in calling him "Big House Steve".
That is all.
A quarterback can only be good if he has a good offensive line and receivers who can grab the ball.

Okay, let's hear predictions: Green Bay/Denver
In reply to stroker:
Low scoring game. Green Bay won't gain many yards against the Denver D, Denver offense won't score diddly. Green Bay wins, but not by much.
The Denver defense will outscore the offense, but it won't be enough.
Pack loses and the Saints win and set records doing it ????

Indeed. Is this real life?!
This was not one of the four games I expected Da Bears to win.

The Chargers forgot to place their batteries on the charger....

Indeed, who would have ever thought Luck was better than Aaron Rodgers and Gore still better than Lacy....
I was just happy to see carolina hold off green bay. Since the ravens were on there bye week i didnt have to watch them lose.

Between the Chargers trying to leave the city, there flippant attitudes and the team just being down right terrible and a injury ward. I am done, after 22 years of cheering for them, done.
Wife is a Panthers fan so might have to switch to there side and cheer for a winning team for once.
Did this show up yet? It is almost 2016.

I am in the Boston area this week for work (Woostah!). I am having a good time trolling Pats fans. Saying things like "Eli has more heart than Brady" provides a lot of entertainment.
