Looks like it cost 50% of the secondary, but Lions 18, Pack 16. First win in GB since before the Favre era.

Seeing the ravens lose again saddened me. Then i watched the 1-7 lions end a 24 year losing streak against green bay and was happy again.
The question is: how many more years until the Seahawks are a playoff threat again?
I'm a fan of theirs, didn't stop me from betting my brother that they won't do better than 7-9.

The fact that it was THIS dumpster fire of a team that finally ended that streak is just so Lions.
Can't wait until Chip Kelly is gone... Unfortunately, that'll probably be 2017 at best unless the Eagles really blow the rest of the season...
Dear Packers,
When I said you could lose out and still win your division, I didn't mean I wanted you to prove it.
Sincerely, a Fan
What a fun day of football. The Bears won handily, and the Packers were humiliated at home! Although I have to give it to Detroit. They really, really tried to lose that game. In the end though.....the Packers were able to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.
It also looks like the Ravens are vying for the Lion's choke crown. The way they lost that game yesterday was incredible....amazingly Lions-like.
Maybe, just maybe, the next time the hated and feared (Packers) play Da Bears it will be for second in the division!
Not that I expect Da Bears to play as well as they did against the Rams for the rest of the season.

Don't worry Cleveland doesn't play football. That was so bad LeBron was probably watching it from a hotel room thinking, damn, I'll never be able to win a championship in this town.

i've been lost for the year for a while. however, i love that nobody covers that the berkeleybag that ran the kick back for baltimore had one whole foot out of bounds back near the 50. thought the nfl was supposed to review all scoring plays...

in the end, bad teams find a way to lose. in a game between two really bad teams, one of them is going to figure out how to hand it to the other team. last time the browns won it, this time the berkeleybirds did. they both suck it hard this year.
In reply to patgizz: NFL is fixed, only cheaters win, unfortunately even Cleveland sucks at cheating, hence why ray farmer was suspended this year.
Alot of hate on the ravens, i thought for sure they gave that game away in the 4th quarter. Secondary is horrible this season and were missing 7 offensive starters. But were still ahead of the browns in the AFC north.
If I'd had to choose one game that the Broncos would win with Osweiler, it would not have been the one against the Patriots. Good lord, that was exciting. And yay for snow! The loss of Gronkowski is going to hurt the Patriots.
In other news, the Ottawa RedBlacks lost out to the Edmonton Eskimos in the Grey Cup. My entire life, the Ottawa football team has been a joke - and this year they made it to the big game. I didn't get a chance to watch it, but it looks like it was a heck of a game. No snow, but cold. Whaddya expect for Winnipeg in late October?
In reply to patgizz:
Hill's foot was in the air in the still shot making him appear out of bounds, but he was in bounds. But there was a neutral zone infraction that wasn't called that should've nullified the block, resulting in a 46 yard attempt.
Man Arizona looks good right now. They have all the pieces of a championship team this time of the year: Health, depth, good coaching, a schedule that's tough enough to keep them sharp heading into the playoffs, and they control their own destiny for the #2 seed.
As of 12-9 I'm predicting...
AFC Championships: Cincinnati > New England
NFC Championships: Arizona > Seattle
Superbowl: Arizona > Cincinatti

At this rate, I foresee Carolina Rick Rolling the entire NFC. AFC is still a clusterberkeley
teams the browns are better than: 49ers
teams the browns are worse than: everyone else
we can't even tank it for the first pick right.
sigh. i was hoping andy dalton would get bounced in the first round again, it's a yearly tradition. unfortunately he had to break his finger.
phil dawson is still my hero.
In reply to patgizz:
Hell, Charlie Whitehurst took a bigger hit than Dalton..... Ginger - 0, Crappy 3rd stringer - 1.

Chris Gardocki will always have a special place in my heart for flipping off Cowler, even though he later joined Pittsburgh.
The Panthers are looking good as much as I dislike watching them play. The Seahawks have turned things around and have been on fire lately. I wouldn't count them out vs. the Panthers if they meet in the playoffs. Then there is the Cards. Those seem to be the three best teams right now in my book and they are all stacked up in the NFC.
