I didnt know anyone used bar soap anymore. I use whatever 3-1 bodywash mix my wife buys me. She got tired of me smelling like her shampoo.

This... Well, the first part... Not the second part. I must smell like tea trees. Tea trees and old spice.
The V05 strawberries and cream is where it’s at, and it is 79 cents at Menards. Therefore when i’m buying manly tools and building materials and jerky i can also load up on my girly smelling shampoo.
I swear , when I first found this nonsense all thanks to Mdz -Seth.... the last thing I though I'd read about was effen SOAP...........y'all kill me......next thing I know , yur poots will be smellin' like rose petals.....BWaHahahaaaa!!!!!!
Ran out of dove so I grabbed a bottle of dawn dish soap (had a small one I got on vacation). Works great for everything including shaving. The rest of the family use all kinds of things. I counted 16 bottles of all kinds of things the other day. When I asked the lady’s of the house about this situation I was informed that they were all must have items. I just ignore it now.
AngryCorvair said:After 20 years of smelling it on me, my wife has grown weary of the scent of Irish Spring deodorant soap. I've been using Irish Spring since I was about 14 years old, and now apparently I need to find a new soap. I need something with a mild scent, not douchey like Axe.
Any suggestions?
Just to clarify, have you been using Irish Spring Original? I've been using Irish Spring Aloe, and the scent is much more mild. Recently my wife accidentally picked up Irish Spring Original, and the scent was way too strong.
I'm allergic to any kind of dyes or fragrances. Even dove breaks me out. I use cetaphil and smell like a man. A man who doesn't use any fragrances. It's probably not pleasant but I can't smell it.
Whatever soap your wife says you should use is the one and only right answer.
Or possibly just stop showering and see if she prefers that.

+1. She’ll be begging for you to use your favorite soap again in no time.

Liquid soap really cuts down on the soap scum in the shower, too. Most of what sticks to the walls is the wax and what-all that holds the bar together.
But what are you gonna do if you need to remove a pilot bearing while building an all aluminum big big block Hemi in the parking lot of a drag strip

Yes, Original.
You should definitely try the Aloe version then, if you like Irish Spring. The scent is way more mild.

Turn all the labels so they face the wall. After two weeks, throw out all the bottles that haven't moved. They will never notice.

That’s why you do it in a hotel parking lot. They have little carts with bars of soap just waiting for you.

Me too. But I lived in Ireland for a year in a farming community back in the 80's and I saw no Irish Spring. People mostly just stank I think.

I have several friends in real life that describe the GRM forums as "very strange". They're not wrong.
Men + Care from Dove is awesome stuff. Try the Charcoal + Clay, the smell is really good without being a perfume or odd flower or something. Works great on dry or sensitive skin too.
