I suspect this is a case that the true enemy of the North Korean regime is not the republic of South Korea, but is the people of North Korea being exposed to the truth.
If China didn't finance them, they'd have been dust decades ago.
They do seem to come up with senseless ways of expressing themselves. I wonder if anyone has actually driven across that border crossing since 1953.

It's wild how we went from 2019 where both sides were trying to reconcile, to 2024 where the DPRK has apparently decided "berkeley it, two Koreas forever." I guess the hawkish government that won in the last elections undid the work Moon was doing.
