They keep telling us that it's a big deal. But much like horse racing, if people don't really care about the activity, no amount of hype is going to make it entertaining enough for me to watch.

We just had the first Triple Crown winner in 37 years and I live if the center of the thoroughbred capital of the world, still very little interest outside of the people directly involved in the horse industry.

But at least the game is moving the entire time. I can't stand watching football. Maybe if they sped the thing up somehow, but in an hour game there is what... 13 minutes of actual play? And that hour takes 3. There is a reason that my favorite sport to play and watch is hockey.

In all honesty, I am kinda trolling football fans. I do actually watch football but I don't understand how people call football so much more exciting then soccer (or rather proper football )

I love sports. I watch a decent number of NFL games, some NHL (every now and then), go to about 10 college hockey games a year and watch some UK basketball. But I probably watch 50-60 soccer games a year between most of Newcastle's Premier League games, some FA and Capital One cup games and Champion's League. Plus playing soccer and ultimate frisbee.

How much would you pay for this to happen? FIFA is interested.

Speaking of sports, I quite like. I have watched the Triple Crown every year since I can remember (although I missed the Belmont this year because of a wedding).

Also regarding the World Cup, 26.5 million people watched the final of the men's World Cup in the US last year. I'd say that is a pretty big deal...

I heard some people were scrutineering and practicing in France this week for something this weekend......nothing else that occurs is even noteworthy this entire week.

Congrats to the horse winning the triple crown though, that was noteworthy enough to stand out during IoM TT Week.
